As you may have found out already, most offshore companies claim to operate out of Cyprus. When you ask their representatives why that is, they will tell you it's for "Tax Reasons". 

What they don't tell you is that Cyprus and many other so called "Tax Shelters" allow ANYONE to open a company and remain completely anonymous. Try Googeling "open a company in Cyprus" and see what you get. 

You can find countless companies that will offer you fake directors and shareholders in order to conceal the true identity of the real owner of the company. 

These fake directors and shareholders pre-sign their rights of ownership and management to the true unknown owner of the company (they leave the date empty). So In fact you have no way of getting to the true owner of the company.

Once they have opened the company, they can open bank accounts and credit cards under the company name ANYWHERE in the world in order to receive your funds.

In most cases the brand name you see when opening your account in a "binary options firm" is completely FAKE and in fact there is no registered company under that name.

As a company owner in Cyprus you are not obligated to OPERATE FROM WITHIN CYPRUS! 

All you need to do is to hire a secretary service through the company that opened the company for you and they'll forward your mail to where ever you want it to go. 

In fact you can sometime find separate Binary Options companies with the same address in Cyprus. This is also true in regards to the toll free phone numbers you call the companies with. You can purchase a Toll Free number and direct callers to anywhere you would like in the world.

Once you know how these companies operate don't fool yourselves into thinking that "some" are good and others are bad. When you deposit money into a Binary Options company you are sending funds to an UNKNOWN ENTITY with an UNKNOWN owner and you become completely dependent on their goodwill in order to get your funds back.
